Have you ever wished you could have a guaranteed path to success without all the self doubt and negative feelings? Without all the constant worrying about if you're progressing or moving in the right direction? Well keep on reading the gain the understanding of why a lot of people never create a good or even amazing life despite having unbelievable potential inside of them. This is why my passion is to inspire and change the lives of millions of people, because I firmly know that any person has the potential to create an unbelievable life if they have enough self belief and a good work ethic. Just look at Hellen Keller, she achieved more success than a lot of people do in their life time even though being born with no vision or hearing. If someone who is blind and deaf can achieve, then what is your excuse? Actually come up with a few reasons as to why you're not reaching your potential and DO SOMETHING about it - make a change.
Don't wait for it to fall into your lap
People are too busy waiting for the good life to fall into their lap without taking any steps to get there. Stop being helpless, take charge. There are piles of people out their who moan that they're single but aren't out meeting new people – people who blow their money every month and then wonder why they're broke – people who are overweight who don't workout and they avoid salad like the plague. You're not one of these people, are you? What you do on a daily basis creates who you are. You know that person who is very rich? He probably reads about, and understands how money works – that footballer you know trains FOOTBALL 6 days a week – The successful scientist spends a lot of his time experimenting and finding new concepts. I hate to say it, but youve been getting scammed every single day, you don't need any extra gimmicks or gadgets in your life despite what the people selling all these products tell you. Who are you going to listen to? The person who wants you to achieve more or the person who wants to sell you some recycled information re-packaged into tempting box? Well if you want to listen to me, i'll share the best kept secret in the world – Success in ANY field is SIMPLE. Yes, I said simple. No, I did not say easy because if you really want to become successful in your field, then you're going to have put in the blood, sweat and tears to reach the top. But to get started on the path, you have to take the 1st step in the right direction because the man who makes the 1st step is a lot more likely to make the 2nd step than the person who hasn't done the first. You want to get fitter, exercise. You want to get richer, make more & spend less. You want to meet people who share interests with you? Think of where these sorts of people hang out and go there. Just get the ball in motion because the smallest of decisions can spark a massive snowball effect that has the capability to change your life. Has meeting a certain person once changed the direction of your life, maybe it was an incident, maybe even an accident. At the time it might not be clear but being able to look back will give you a clear understanding of the signifigance of an event. EVERYTHING HAPPENS TO ME FOR A REASON. Repeat this to yourself everytime you become worked up and you'll soon have got yourself out of a negative state. Repeat this to yourself over and over again, day after day until you've brainwashed your brain to not know otherwise
Do the activities that create a better life (this gets you around the right people)
I hate to sound so simplistic but life really can be simple. Want to be able to drive? Get a car. Want to understand self esteem – read a book. Want people to like you more – like yourself more and smile more. Want to improve your business – work on your business. It might even sound too simple but mark my words, get out into whatever field it is you want to get into/move up the ladder in and get your hands dirty. It's much deeper than just turning up, but if you around people who are where you want to be, then you can use that persons past mistakes and experience to cut serious amounts of time off've your learning career. Better to learn from others mistakes than to make mistakes yourself. Don't be afraid of mistakes though, embrace them, because under the initial feelings of failure, disappointment and possibly even anger, there are super valuable lessons to be learnt from this – as you can view the siutation, take insight from it, learn from it and become stronger from it. Remember, nothing has a meaning apart from the meaning you give it. The burn in the gym is what I now look for as I know it's needed to make myself grow whereas to a person who isn't looking at how they can benefit will dread the burn from lifting weights and the shakey feeling in your body after deadlifts and do anything they can to avoid the 'pain.' These people will stay weak and unsuccessful forever if they don't take charge as they avoid pain which is needed to grow, whereas a person with a growth mindset will keep pushing out of their comfort zones until being uncomfortable is not only uncomfortable, but a way of life.
Being conscious of yourself is also a great help, and you can use various techniques such as meditation, yoga, reading or journalling to make yourself more mindful and conscious.
Being conscious allows you to observe the thoughts in your head much easier and just so you understand what I mean, have you ever seen a beautiful chocolate bar and instantly wanted it but then your inner personal growth guru talked you out of it. But then your inner child starts saying to you ''Ooooo it does look nice though'' ''1 bar can't hurt'' and it keeps nagging at you until you give in and eat the whole packet. Well, being more conscious will allow you to control these thoughts much more and you might actually have a chance of winning over the chocolate loving kid in the back of your head. Say no to the free cookies at work, say yes to going to the gym when you don't feel like it, read a book even when you feel like watching reality TV, have the awkward conversation instead of avoiding it by looking at your phone. Start to take control of these decisions and mark my words, your life will completely change from the inside out.
Commit to everything 100% - to get 100% of results
To stay committed to something 99% is super difficult, but to stick to something 100% is easy because once you commit yourself fully, there is no going back on your word.
Think about a child who wants a sweet, now think about how dedicated a child is to getting that sweet. They will ask for hours on end, making as much fuss as possible. Sometimes even doing things that are looked down on by other people to get their outcome. The difference is that this child has laser focus and hasn't yet been brainwashed into the conformity of the world and hasn't yet learnt the traits of being a worker/cog in a machine and taking everything as orders. The child will keep going no matter how many times they are told no, they will try different techniques that they are unsure of and they don't care if they get on anybody's nerves. And guess what, for the first 99 attempts, the kid has no luck whatsoever and it's starting to seem like an impossible mission but all of a sudden, on the 100th attempt, the adult breaks into the pressure and gives the child their desired sweets. The child didn't give up when they were told no, they knew what their outcome was and they worked until they reached their outcome. In your own life, what is the 'sweet' you're trying to get? Make it clear (if you don't know where you're going, how are you going to get there? How are even going to know you're there once you arrive?) and start putting daily consistent action into place to make it happen. Don't give up at the 1st hurdle, or the 2nd.
Commit to improving 1 thing at a time.
In the day and age we live in, it's easy to get caught up trying to change everything at once, but the man who tries to chase 1 rabbit is much more likely to catch it than the person who is trying to catch 2 different ones at the same time. Get a piece of paper or even just take a second to think, and really try and rack your brains and decide on the 1 change that could make the quickest/biggest/most important change in your life and make it happen. If you commit to making 1 change a month – you will 12 more habits/lifestyle changes implemented at the end of the year than the person who says their going to make lots of different changes all the time and never actually follows through. You will be surprised at how much adding or subtracting 1 thing can make such a difference.
Higher self love
A major issue for every person, whether they know it or not is their self esteem as this controls a lot of the decisions we make on a daily basis and each time we choose something for ourselves, our self esteem adjusts accordingly so every time you perform an action you know isn't good for you, then your self esteem takes a hit and every time you do something thats good for you or improves yourself then it gets a boost. This is why certain people whose lives aren't where they want them to do may struggle to make a change in their life as there self esteem is already low and they sometimes don't see the important of improving...and even in some cases, people think there life is set in stone and don't even realise that they have the potential to create an amazing life. You can view this how you like and on whatever scale suits you but I try and concentrate and building up momentum or a 'win streak' as I call it and this is where you are consistently choosing the empowering option in a situation and you start to get a bit of momentum and although it's very difficult to explain, you will feel like your on a roll and won't want to let yourself down by making a decision thats going to harm you or set you back. Don't be the person who moans about there life being rubbish who never does anything to improve it.
Spreads into all areas of your life
It's easy to get caught up in the focus of earning more, getting in better shape etc but its important not to get forget about the other areas. I want to become a better employee, son, friend, boyfriend and training partner. And once you start improving in other areas of life, you will get a different reaction from the world. Try putting more effort into your relationship than normal and see how your partner reacts. Put in a bit of extra effort with a parent and watch how it brightens their whole day. Change starts with you. You're the only factor thats consistent in everything in your life so if you start to change yourself, the world will start to change around you.
